The old name
Honey, I washed the car.
That's what bay A-2 was called before Sérgio's name went on the door. The e-mail address still keeps the initials.
Sérgio washes cars at Parque Holanda Monday to Friday, from 07:30. People who work in the park leave the car in the morning and take it back at the end of the day; others drive in specially — some bring it every month.
The work is all his: every corner, every stain, every scratch that seemed beyond saving. And at the end, an explanation of how to keep the car that way.
